Developers unite at Kings of Code Festival
From the 1st until the 4th of December 2012, 400 developers will gather in Amsterdam to explore and discuss the latest trends, developments and best practices in web and mobile development technologies. We've invited leading international speakers & developers to share their knowledge and visions on development and coding. Act fast to grab the early bird and register, last year sold out quickly.
A four-day extravaganza for developers
This year we're expanding Kings of Code into a full-blown developers festival. Enjoy a Hack Battle, the Conference and a Workshop day in the heart of Amsterdam.
The Hack Battle
The weekend before the Conference (December 1 and 2) the Hack Battle is on! A group of 100 developers (frontend/backend and designers) will come together to build great apps and web services in just under 36 hours on top of APIs and SDKs of our partners. Which team will go home with the title: Kings of Code 2012?
The Conference
One day, two tracks, 16 leading and international speakers on topics like frontend, backend and mobile development. This year's Conference, in the center of Amsterdam, will bring together 400 developers from all over the world to enjoy talks and keynotes on the latest trends in development.
The Workshops
Leading experts will teach you all about the latest frontend, backend and mobile technologies on the Workshop day. Want to know how to create a mobile HTML5 application? Or always been fascinated in deploying applications with Chef? The Workshop track is for you.

The Festival schedule
We have 4 great full days planned, consisting of:
- Saturday (1 December): Start of Festival and the Hack Battle
- Sunday (2 December): Hack Battle ends. Official opening party
- Monday (3 December): Conference day. Afterparty!
- Tuesday (4 December): Workshop day. End of the Festival :-(
