Hack Battle

This year we introduce the Kings of Code Hack Battle. Not your normal type of Hackathon, this is a real Battle.

The weekend before Kings of Code (September 17-18) the battle is on. Who has the best development team? Which team will go home with the title: Kings of Code 2011?

You've got 36 hours

We invite all Kings of Code participants to join the Hack Battle with their colleagues and compete against the other teams by building great apps and web services in just under 36 hours on top of APIs and SDKs of our partners. Our partners set challenges a team can take on. At the end of the Hack Battle, each team will present their achievements in front of an audience and a jury of leading entrepreneurs and investors. The winners of each of the challenges are invited to present their hacks on main stage during the conference on Monday. At the end of the conference, the jury will decide which team will win the title "Kings of Code 2011".

Sign up for the hack battle as a company team or as an individual. In the last case: Try to team up with other hackers up front through the wiki. To join the Hack Battle you need to register for Kings of Code. We will sent an invitation to apply to all attendees of the conference.

The rules

The only rules we have are the following: the hack must be built during the weekend and must be built using an API or SDK.

Location

The Hack Battle is hosted by Deskowitz on Museumplein (see image below).

Wiki

Add your team and API's to the wiki. The wiki is used during the Hack Battle to determine the teams, the hacks, to find info about the API's, etc. It's a work in progress.
